POTTSTOWN — Zion’s United Church of Christ welcomes all to a joint worship service with Trinity UCC on the 10th Sunday after Pentecost, Aug. 6, at 10:15 am, at Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets. Trinity’s Pastor Marti Smith will share a message “Abundance, Believe It.” The Sacrament of Holy Communion will also be shared. All are welcome to join in a reception in the Chapel Building following the Worship Service. Sunday School for youth and adults is suspended for August. LIMERICK — St James Lutheran Church is located at 93 Kugler Road. This Sunday, Aug. 6, there will be one service at 10 AM that will be a combination of contemporary and traditional services. Holy Communion will be celebrated and all are invited to join us. Service is live-streamed on our website at stjameslimerick.org. After the service, we will be stuffing the backpacks for distribution to various schools that have requested them. Light refreshments will be served so come join us. Put Saturday, Oct. 14 on your calendar. That is our Apple Festival which is a fundraiser for Mission Trips. This includes great food, games for children, a Bounce House, music and much more! POTTSTOWN — You are invited to join Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 150 N. Hanover St., this Sunday for worship at 10:45 AM. Prayer Squares can be knitted or crocheted using an available pattern; completed Squares will be donated to local members and organizations within the Pottstown community. We are collecting brand-new school supplies now through Aug. 20 for Pottstown Community Action, which will be distributed to local teachers and students. Suggested donations include: #2 and colored pencils, paper, notebooks, pens, binders, folders, protractors, rulers, highlighters, backpacks, markers, composition books, white-out rollers, etc. Monetary donations may be dropped off on Sundays from 9:30 to 11:30 AM or by appointment by calling the church office at (610) 323-4312.

POTTSTOWN — St. John’s UCC. 11 S. Price St., welcomes all to join in worship on Sunday at 9:30 amin Fellowship Hall. If unable to join in person, the service will be available for viewing on YouTubelater in the day. The Little Pantry is stocked weekly with water, food, and personal care itemsfor community members in need. Collection for Operation will start in the Fall when schools areback in session. BARTO — Christ Lutheran Church will worship on this the Tenth Sunday of Pentecost on Sunday, Aug. 6, at 9 a.m. with Pastor Matt Finney leading the congregation in the Holy Communion worship and presenting the sermon for the morning.
