POTTSTOWN — Zion’s United Church of Christ welcomes all to a joint worship service with Trinity UCC on the 10th Sunday after Pentecost, Aug. 6, at 10:15 am, at Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets. Trinity’s Pastor Marti Smith will share a message “Abundance, Believe It.” The Sacrament of Holy Communion will also be shared. LIMERICK — St James Lutheran Church is located at 93 Kugler Road. This Sunday, Aug. 6, there will be one service at 10 AM that will be a combination of contemporary and traditional services. Holy Communion will be celebrated and all are invited to join us. Service is live-streamed on our website at stjameslimerick.org. After the service, we will be stuffing the backpacks for distribution to various schools that have requested them. Light refreshments will be served so come join us. Put Saturday, Oct. 14 on your calendar. That is our Apple Festival which is a fundraiser for Mission Trips. This includes great food, games for children, a Bounce House, music and much more! We are collecting brand-new school supplies now through Aug. 20 for Pottstown Community Action, which will be distributed to local teachers and students.
